The client is a technology solutions provider for construction industry. They wanted to create a next-gen azure based technology service that offers on demand Home Models & options to enable quick production line turnaround. They wanted to create one single cloud based application which provides flexible, interactive, real-time communications between trades and the Builder’s staff. The system should provide messaging system which helps user to communicate internally as well as outside the system. The common portal should provide a responsive UI to users, so that system can be accessible through multiple medium.
Multiple portals meant high cost of infrastructure which is both rigid and non-scalable technology. The system generated large volumes of data owing to 50,000+ models and customization options. The response time needed serious speed-up with minimum manual inputs. The client wanted to make the portal responsive making it available over smartphones as well.
