QA Consultant

Location: Pune (India)

Position Summary:
QA Consultant in Saviant helps to deliver high quality enterprise applications with different business domain using the most advanced testing methodologies and standards within the agreed timelines.

Individuals in this role should have strong analytical and problem solving skills.

Your Role & Responsibilities at Saviant:
As a part of agile team environment you are responsible for delivering high quality projects. You will work closely with Software Developers and Project Managers to iron out any bugs in the product, and improve the quality of the finished product

1. Understand business requirements ensuring client priorities and high impact items are addressed in a timely manner
2. Test all aspects of the product/system like functional, non-functional, system, performance, usability and regression to trace the result to identify risk and report it to concerned people
3. Work with development team to set up the test environments, design test plans, develop test cases/scenarios/use cases, and execute these cases
4. Ensure Testing Process is followed and suggest improvements

Job Requirements/Qualifications:

1. Educational Qualification: BE, BTech, MTech, MCA from a reputed institute
2. 3+ years of experience in manual testing
3. Exposure to Automation testing is preferred (Selenium)
4. Knowledge of Web servers, App servers, O/S, Databases
5. Experience in a various testing techniques and tools
6. Ability to understand business requirements
7. Excellent oral and written communication skills
8. Ability to independently deliver complex development projects
9. Enjoys working as part of agile teams in a startup environment
